Cloud Based Servers

C3 is proud to offer exclusively VMware vSphere 4 based Server Hosting.  This allows us to quickly provision one or more server(s) that are as slim or as powerful as your needs require.  We can offer disk configurations as high as 1TB per server, up to 8 computing cores, and up to 32GB of RAM (operating system dependent, of course).   If your needs change, we can expand or contract your services on an as needed basis, no questions asked.   Some of the features of our hosting platform are discussed below.

Our cloud based servers start at just $99.95 per month!

High Performance Storage

C3 has chosen to build its storage infrastructure on a high performance Fiber backbone with 15k RPM SAS connected disk storage.  This allows us to provide our clients with the highest IOPS and most consistent throughput performance for even the most demanding application environments.  Never one to rest on our laurels, C3 will shortly be introducing SSD storage options for even greater performance.

High Performance Compute and RAM

The entire C3 computing infrastructure is built using the latest HP Proliant servers with Intel's Nehalem based CPU's and tri-channel memory on board.  As the processor landscape continues to evolve, so too does our data center.  In the coming months, we plan to add our first Westmere (6 core) based systems to our clusters.

Built In High Availability

Because C3 has chosen to architect its hosting solution using VMware's vSphere 4 platform, we are able to take advantage of its advanced features such as High Availability and Distributed Resource Scheduling.   Should an individual physical server in our cluster fail, the High Availability technology automatically moves any failed virtual machines to a surviving member of the cluster and then restarts them.  The Distributed Resource Scheduling technology keeps constant vigil on the cluster and moves virtual machines around, without interrupting their operation, in such a way as to keep the load fairly balanced across the entire cluster.  Together, the result is more uptime and better performance for our clients.
